R26/14-6 It was moved and seconded That a Heritage Alteration Permit be issued to authorize deconstruction and reconstruction of the First Nations Building at Britannia Shipyards National Historic Site, as outlined in the report titled “Heritage Alteration Permit Application (HA 26-011972) by the City of Richmond – 5180 Westwater Drive (First Nations Building)”, dated June 22, 2026, from the Deputy Chief Administrative Officer and General Manager, Parks, Recreation and Culture.

R26/14-7 It was moved and seconded That the Heritage Alteration Permit be referred back to staff to have an archeologist review the building prior to deconstruction, include the City’s Indigenous Relations Manager and other First Nation groups on the project, and to contact Supreme House Movers Ltd. to request a report on moving the building.
