That Council:
1.
Receive Corporate Report R193 for information;
2.
Authorize the City Clerk to bring forward the Surrey Tenant Protection Bylaw
No. 21788, 2025, attached as Appendix "I", to in part replace City of Surrey Policy
O-61 Rental Housing Redevelopment: Rental Replacement and Tenant Relocation
Assistance as described in the report;
3.
Authorize the City Clerk to repeal City of Surrey Policy O-61: Rental Housing
Redevelopment: Rental Replacement and Tenant Relocation Assistance
(Appendix "II") and replace with the proposed City of Surrey Policy #O-63: Rental
Replacement, attached as Appendix "III" upon final adoption of the Surrey Tenant
Protection Bylaw No. 21788, 2025;
4.
Authorize the City Clerk to bring forward the required readings to amend the
Surrey Municipal Ticket Information Utilization Bylaw, 1994, No. 12508, as
documented in Appendix "IV";
5.
Authorize the City Clerk to bring forward the required readings to amend the
Surrey Bylaw Notice Enforcement Bylaw, 2016, No. 18691, as documented in
Appendix "V"; and
6.
Direct staff to undertake Phase 2 of the rental housing redevelopment policy
review as described in the report.
