Staff support the applicant's proposal, which is consistent with City policy and includes: e Barrier-free lobbies, common areas, and amenity spaces. e Aging-in-place features in all units (e.g. grab bar blocking and lever handles). « 60 per cent Basic Universal Housing (BUH) units (i.e. 15 of 25 units). ¢ A minimum of two accessible units designed in accordance with the BC Building Code standards to accommodate a resident in a wheelchair. Opportunities for additional BUH and accessible units will be reviewed at the Development Permit application stage.
