Request of the Minister of Housing and Municipal Affairs pertaining to the City of Richmond’s Application dated October 24, 2023, to the Lieutenant Governor in Council for the appointment of a Commissioner as contemplated by section 43 of the Municipalities Enabling and Validating Act, RSBC 1960, Chapter 261, as amended (“MEVA”) (File Ref. No. 01-0035-20-MENA1; 10-6045-08-01; 10-6045-09-01) (REDMS No. 8433607, 7425922, 7443307) R26/12-15 It was moved and seconded That the Council of the City of Richmond hereby affirms its support of the City of Richmond’s application dated October 24, 2023, to the Lieutenant-Governor in Council for the appointment of a Commissioner as contemplated by section 43 of the Municipalities Enabling and Validating Act, RSBC 1960, Chapter 261, as amended. CARRIED
