Materials determined to be beyond repair or unsuitable for reuse will be documented and disposed. Building Reconstruction The Building is a 3,500 sq. ft. single-storey wood-frame structure, clad in board and batten siding, with a corrugated metal roof and remnants of half-round metal and wood drainage gutters. Evidence of openings for doors, windows, and vents remain on all elevations. The interior includes a dirt floor and wood partition walls separating eight bays, each with their own entry openings. The reconstructed building will maintain the form, footprint, dimensions, and overall visual character of the existing structure. Reconstruction will utilize a modern structural system designed to meet current building code, accessibility, life safety, and program requirements. Exterior architectural features will reproduce the appearance and heritage character of the original 1890s building, incorporating salvaged original materials wherever possible.
