Tanya Webking

Tanya Webking is Dene and German, with roots in the Tłı̨chǫ Nation in the Northwest Territories. She has spent decades working on the frontlines of housing, healthcare and community support systems in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. Through that work, Tanya has seen firsthand how housing instability, stretched public services and rising costs affect workers, families and vulnerable community members. She is running to bring that frontline experience into provincial decision-making and to help build systems that respond not only to crisis, but to the conditions that create it.
