Christine Kinnie

Christine Kinnie is a public-service worker, community volunteer and longtime Surrey-White Rock resident with deep family roots in the area. Her great-grandparents lived on a small farm in Ocean Park, and her family has called the community home for generations. Christine currently works as a secondary school secretary, supporting students, families, educators and staff in a busy inner-city school. Through this work, she has seen firsthand how affordability, housing insecurity and access to essential services affect families and young people.
