It was Moved by Councillor Kooner Seconded by Councillor Hepner That Council: 1. Receive Corporate Report R169 for information; 2. Approve the closure and sale of a 0.484-hectare area of City parkland located at 18641 54A Avenue for the purposes of consolidating this land with the adjacent development land located at 18620 56 Avenue, as generally described in the report and shown in Appendix "I"; 3. Establish and approve the geographic area to which the Alternative Approval Process applies as being on a municipal-wide basis and the corresponding total number of eligible voters (the "Electors") as being 335,618; 4. Establish and approve the elector response form, attached as Appendix "II"; 5. Establish and approve the deadline for receiving responses from Electors as being September 2, 2025; and 6. Authorize the City Clerk to bring forward the required readings of Surrey Park Closure Bylaw, 2025, No. 21726, attached as Appendix "III". RES.R25-2019 Carried
