CD By-law • The applicant is proposing a "Comprehensive Development Zone (CD)” to accommodate a proposed 6-storey residential building with the option for live-work units on the subject site. The proposed CD By-law for the proposed development site identifies the uses, densities and setbacks proposed. The CD By-law will have provisions based on the "Multiple Residential 70 Zone (RM-70)" and “Special Single Family Residential (9) Zone (RF-9s)”. • A CD Zone is being proposed to accommodate the live-work component, a use that is not permitted under the RM-70 Zone, as well as the proposed floor area ratio, lot coverage and setbacks. • A comparison of the density, lot coverage, setbacks, building height and permitted uses in the RM-70 Zone and the proposed CD By-law is illustrated in the following table:
