Seconded by Councillor Kooner
That Council:
1.
Receive Corporate Report R140 for information;
2.
Endorse the comments as described in the report regarding the draft Metro
Vancouver Regional Solid Waste Management Plan (“SWMP”); and
3.
Direct staff to forward a copy of the report and the related Council resolution to
Metro Vancouver and the Ministry of Environment and Parks as the City of
Surrey’s feedback on the draft SWMP.
