It was Moved by Councillor Kooner Seconded by Councillor Stutt That Council authorize staff to repay $3.6 million of funds granted to the City from the Surrey Homelessness and Housing Society’s endowment for the Cove Shelter, Olive Branch Shelter, and The Nest modular housing projects from 2020 to 2025, drawing from the City’s Affordable Housing Reserve Fund, by providing repayment of $3.6 million in three separate installments of $1.2 million annually from 2026 to 2028.
