Liquor License Amendment No. 7925-0131-00 It was Moved by Councillor Kooner Seconded by Councillor Bains That Council after taking into account the following considerations outlined in the attached Planning Report dated October 20, 2025: (a) the location of the establishment; (b) the person capacity and hours of liquor service; (c) the potential for the establishment to generate undue noise; (d) the impact to the community, if the application were approved; (e) operation of the establishment in a manner that is contrary to its primary purpose; and after completing the Public Notification, in accordance with City policy, to gather views of area residents and businesses with respect to the proposed Liquor License Amendment at the Hazelmere Golf & Tennis Club, and after having reviewed any correspondence submitted in response to the Notification; Council recommends the partial amendment of Liquor Primary License #030460 (Hazelmere Golf & Tennis Club) subject to the following conditions: 1. support for the amendment is limited to the indoor (bar) portion of the clubhouse bistro, and the playing surfaces and practice areas of the golf course. The hours of operation for these areas are 9:00 am to 1:00 am, Monday to Saturday, and 9:00 am to midnight on Sunday; 2. the hours of operation for the outdoor (patio) portion of the clubhouse bistro must remain unchanged, as the applicant does not wish to contravene certain provisions of the City of Surrey Business License By-law, 1999, No. 13680. The hours of operation for the bistro patio are 11:00 am to 1:00 am, Monday to Saturday, and 11:00 am to midnight on Sunday; and 3. The applicant must maintain in good standing the existing Good Neighbour Agreement with the City." RES.R25-2821 Carried
