这段原文取自本站留存的同一份 PDF,仅展示本条相关文本;官方在线版本可能更新。

GHG Credits (“Credits”) will be transferred to Metro Vancouver based on the following schedule: • 100% of Credits to be allocated to Metro Vancouver until Metro Vancouver’s total Credits equals 10,000 tonnes or equivalent; thereafter, • 50% of Credits to be allocated to Metro Vancouver until Metro Vancouver’s total Credits equals 20,000 tonnes or equivalent; thereafter, • 25% of Credits to be allocated to Metro Vancouver until Metro Vancouver’s total Credits equals 28,500 tonnes or equivalent; thereafter • 0% of Credits to be allocated to Metro Vancouver. • All Credits not allocated to Metro Vancouver will be allocated to LIEC/City. Staff have verified that LIEC is able to transfer GHG credits to Metro Vancouver at this schedule and still meet the currently projected Provincial requirements tied to the Zero Carbon Step Code over this time frame. Staff also believe valuation of the credits represents good value to LIEC. The Key Terms of the Sewage Diversion and Funding Agreement have been approved by the LIEC Board on June 11th, 2026. Metro Vancouver staff are planning to present the agreement to their Liquid Waste Committee and Board for approval in July 2026, in order to have the agreement signed by the end of 2026.
