It was Moved by Councillor Kooner Seconded by Councillor Stutt That: 1. Council close Development Variance Permit No. 7925-0111-00. 2. Council approve Development Variance Permit No. 7925-0111-01, varying the following, to proceed to Public Notification: (a) despite Part 4, Section B.6(b) of the Zoning By-law, vary the minimum indoor amenity space required before cash-in-lieu may be provided for ground-oriented multiple unit residential buildings with 25 or more units from 74.0 square metres to 0.0 square metres; (b) in Section F of CD Bylaw No. 21099, reduce the minimum north yard setback from 7.5 metres to 3.5 metres, the east yard setback from 5.0 metres to 3.0 metres, the south yard setback from 7.3 metres to 3.5 metres, and the west yard setback from 5.5 metres to 3.0 metres, for ground-oriented multiple unit residential buildings; (c) in Section F of CD Bylaw No. 21099, amend footnote #3 to permit one-, two-, and three-storey bays to encroach up to 0.6 metres into the required setbacks for ground-oriented multiple unit residential buildings; (d) in Section H.1 of CD Bylaw No. 21099, vary the parking rate for ground-oriented multiple unit residential dwelling units from 1.1 to 1.9 per dwelling unit, and from 0.1 to 0.15 per dwelling unit for visitors; (e) in Section H.2 of CD Bylaw No. 21099, permit 50% of all required parking spaces for ground-oriented multiple unit residential dwelling units to be provided as tandem parking spaces, excluding visitor parking; and (f) in Section H.3 of CD Bylaw No. 21099, permit all parking spaces for ground-oriented multiple unit residential buildings to be provided as above ground surface parking.
