Abandonment of Unadopted Bylaws

Executive Summary In accordance with Council Policy No. 5017, a review has been undertaken of unadopted bylaws, where one year or more has elapsed from the conclusion of the relevant First Reading or Public Hearing, and their associated land use applications, to identify those projects that have either been withdrawn at the applicant's request or closed due to inactivity. Based on this review, this report presents five (5) unadopted bylaws for abandonment. It is recommended that the noted unadopted bylaws identified in Attachment 1, which have been either closed or withdrawn, be abandoned.
