Surrey 2025 planning addendum with 2020 original 7919-0304-00

Development Application No. 7919-0304-00 was introduced on July 27, 2020. The application proposed an amendment to the Official Community Plan (OCP) to remove the property from the Suburban Density Exception Area, and Rezoning from Half-Acre Residential Zone (RH) to a Comprehensive Development Zone (CD) in order to facilitate subdivision into two lots. Council supported the application on September 14, 2020 and Preliminary Layout Approval (PLA) was issued on March 16, 2021. • Due to the SSMUH Zoning By-law amendments adopted on July 8, 2024, the proposed lots now comply with the R2 Zone so a CD zone is no longer required. As there is no change to the site plan for the previously supported two-lot subdivision, the readings for the OCP amendment bylaw do not need to be rescinded and a new Public Hearing is not required.
