It was Moved by Councillor Stutt Seconded by Councillor Kooner That Council receive Corporate Report R121 for information. Before the question was put: Councillor Annis put forward a motion to defer the report until the Solicitor General makes a decision on policing. Mayor Locke ruled the motion out of order advising that Council has already made the decision on policing three times and the report before Council is a progress report regarding Council’s decision to maintain the RCMP as the Police of Jurisdiction. The vote was then taken on the motion. RES.R23-1403 Carried With Councillors Annis, Elford, and Nagra opposed.
