Steveston Park Legacy Walk – Expanded Scope of Work and Budget Increase

Recommended Expanded Scope of Work Considering the strong community support for the Steveston Park Legacy Walk concept plan and the opportunities it presents to connect with pathway network improvements currently underway within Steveston Community Park, it is recommended that the original Council-endorsed scope of work (from Fentiman Place to the existing east-west park pathway) be expanded further south (to the new east-west pathway being delivered as part of the Steveston Community Centre and Library project), as illustrated in Figure 1. This expansion would better integrate ongoing park improvements and capital projects while creating a continuous, cohesive north-south pathway within the park’s broader pathway network.
