Richmond Community Wellness Strategy Progress Update 2024-2025

2024--2025 Highlights • The Bike to School Education Program, delivered in partnership with SD38, provided more than 3,000 Grade 6 and 7 students at 38 elementary schools with hands-on cycling skills training and active transportation education, helping build confidence and improve road safety knowledge. • Getting There, delivered in 2024 and 2025 by the Minoru Seniors Society with support from a VCH Health Promotion Grant, helped seniors facing transportation barriers attend bi-weekly programs at the Seniors Centre at Minoru Centre for Active Living, improving access to services, reducing isolation and strengthening social connection.
