It was Moved by Councillor Kooner Seconded by Councillor Bose That Council: 1. Direct staff to review: (a) How the City's environmental policies, including part 7A streamside protection of the zoning bylaw and the sensitive ecosystems development permits, can be better aligned with the provincial regulations; (b) The scope and role of the Advisory Design Panel (ADP) and commenting on development applications; and (c) Policies and procedures, regulating erosion and sediment control measures on development sites. 2. Direct staff to report back with recommended changes to bylaws, policies and procedures before the end of December 2023 and to advance development applications for residential buildings of six stories or less, commercial and industrial buildings, to Council without first referring them to ADP until this report is received by Council."
