It was noted that on-table correspondence had been received requesting to have the matter adjourned (copy on file City Clerks Office), and that the Business License holder was not present. SP26/3-1 It was moved and seconded That Item 1, Business Licence Cancellation - Vegas Vacations Ltd. - 5300 No 3 Rd Unit 320, be adjourned. DEFEATED Opposed: Mayor Brodie Cllrs. Day Gillanders Heed Hobbs Loo McNulty Wolfe SP26/3-2 It was moved and seconded ( 1 ) That the business licence issued to Vegas Vacations Ltd., operating from premises located at 5300 No. 3 Road Unit 320, Richmond BC, be cancelled; and ( 2 ) That Council adopt as its own the Reasons attached as APPENDIX A to the report titled “Business Licence Cancellation – Vegas Vacations Ltd. – 5300 No 3 Rd Unit 320”, as Council’s written reasons for the cancellation of the business licence contemplated by Recommendation 1 of this report. The question on Resolution SP26/3-2 was not called as a brief discussion ensued with respect to remedies available to residents impacted by Vegas Vacations Ltd. Staff provided a summary of events and steps taken leading to the recommendation and noted that the staff report is available on the City’s website. The question on the motion was then called and it was CARRIED .
