2026-2027 Engaging artists in the community program public art projects

Artists Isabelle Kirouac and Willoughby Arévalo were recommended for this artist opportunity. Their proposed project, Spreading Spores: creating together with fungi, will explore fungal ecology and engage students in experiential learning and artistic experiences based on the living systems in and around Jessie Wowk Elementary School including the Railway Greenway (details are in Attachment 2).
