First Nations Building Committee Terms of Reference and Referral Response

As detailed in the Tenns of Reference, the proposed purpose of the Committee is to provide staff advice and input at key milestones during the planning and restoration/construction process for the First Nations Building at Britannia Shipyards. The Committee recommends that in addition to the voting representatives from Council and the Society, the Musqueam Indian Band (Musqueam) be invited to provide a non-voting advisor to provide input during the planning and restoration/construction process for the First Nations Building. Musqueam have expressed an interest in being involved with the First Nations Building project in recent discussions with City staff.
