All four phases of the King George Hub development have now been approved and constructed. The internal road network (George Junction/98B Avenue) was also constructed as part of this phase. • On June 26, 2017, Council approved Phase B of the project under Development Permit No. 7917-0162-00, to permit a mixed-use development consisting of a stand-alone two-storey restaurant, single-storey retail podium, two residential towers (40-storey and 29-storey) and a 15-storey office building. • On March 11, 2019, Council approved Phase C of the project under Development Permit No. 7918-0095-00, to permit the development of one 34-storey high-rise mixed-use tower fronting George Junction. The proposal consists of 371 market rental residential dwelling units and 866 square metres of ground floor commercial retail units. • On November 9, 2020 Council approved Phase D of the project under Development Permit No. 7918-0362-00, to permit the development of two mixed-use residential towers (41 storeys and 44 storeys) with a retail, office, and amenity podium and a single storey, standalone shared amenity and retail pavilion. • The proposed stand-alone commercial building is proposed to be located on the remaining undeveloped portion of Phase A on the northeast corner of King George Boulevard and George Junction, south of the 10-storey Coast Capital Savings headquarters building.
