It was Moved by Councillor Kooner Seconded by Councillor Stutt That: 1. Council file Development Variance Permit No. 7924-0086-00 associated with Development Application No. 7924-0086-00. 2. Council endorse Development Variance Permit No. 7924-0086-01, varying the following in the Zoning By-law, to proceed to Public Notification and bring the Development Variance Permit forward for an indication of support by Council: (a) in Section F.1 Yards and Setbacks Part 22 Multiple Residential 30 Zone, reduce the minimum east front yard setback from 4.5 metres to 3.5 metres for a canopy and to 3.8 metres for upper floor projections, and to allow patios and stairs consisting of six risers or less to encroach into the building setback areas; (b) in Section F.1 Yards and Setbacks Part 22 Multiple Residential 30 Zone, reduce the minimum south side yard setback from 6.0 metres to 4.9 metres for the building face, to 4.0 metres for a canopy and to 4.3 metres for upper floor projections, to allow outdoor amenity to be located within the setback area, and to allow patios and stairs consisting of six risers or less to encroach into the building setback areas; (c) in Section F.1 Yards and Setbacks Part 22 Multiple Residential 30 Zone, reduce the minimum west rear yard setback from 6.0 metres to 5.5 metres for a canopy and to 5.9 metres for upper floor projections, to allow outdoor amenity to be located within the setback area, and to allow patios and stairs consisting of six risers or less to encroach into the building setback areas; and (d) in Section F.1 Yards and Setbacks Part 22 Multiple Residential 30 Zone, reduce the minimum north side yard setback from 6.0 metres to 2.3 metres for the building face and to 1.7 metres for upper floor projections. If supported, the Development Variance Permit will be brought forward for issuance and execution by the Mayor and City Clerk in conjunction with the final adoption of the associated rezoning bylaw.
