STEVESTON COMMUNITY CENTRE AND LIBRARY PUBLIC ART PLAN

The Plan recommends a series of, at minimum, three major artworks, including opportunities for community-engaged artwork, during the construction and post-completion stages. Two significant miworks - those integrated in the landscape design and integrated with the building interior - require prompt implementation. Opp01iunities for the interior community-engaged artwork(s) will be explored with the community members after the facility is complete; examples include a single large-scale project, artist-in-residence and/or a number of smaller-scale interactive community workshops that result in legacy work(s).
