Sandhu) Development Variance Permit To reduce the front yard setback and to allow driveway access from the lane along the side lot line to facilitate the construction of a duplex. Moved by Councillor Stutt Seconded by Councillor Hepner That: 1. Council endorse Development Variance Permit No. 7925-0249-00, varying the following in the Zoning By-law, to proceed to Public Notification and bring the Development Variance Permit forward for issuance and execution by the Mayor and City Clerk: (a) in Sub-section F.2(b)i.a. "Yards and Setbacks" of Part 16 Small Lot Residential Zone (R4), allow the front yard setback for a duplex to be reduced to 4.0 metres and allow a further reduction to 2.0 metres for an unenclosed porch or veranda provided that parking is located in the rear yard and is accessed via a side lane; and (b) in Sub-section H.2(d) "Off-Street Parking and Loading/Unloading" of Part 16 Small Lot Residential Zone (R4), allow driveway access along the south side lot line.
