SP 23 /6-8 It was moved and seconded That Council include the Potential Additional Resources to Respond to Homelessness as outlined in Table 8 on CNCL-76, funded one-time by the Rate Stabilization Account (RSA) for the 2024 fiscal year. The question on the motion was not called as discussion ensued with regard to (i) the funding sources and financial impact and (ii) assessing the impact of the Council-approved resources to respond to homelessness. The question on the motion was then called and it was DEFEATED with Mayor Brodie and Cllrs. Au, Heed, Hobbs, Loo, and McNulty opposed.
