Application by 1135355 BC Ltd. for a Steveston Village Heritage Conservation Grant at 3891 Moncton Street

A structural assessment of the building has been identified to provide valuable information to heritage conservation planning for active HRA and HAP applications for the property. Partial or complete replacement of the rear portion of the building is proposed, noted as in poor condition by the heritage consultant, along with a two-storey addition to expand space for the existing business. Conservation of the retained heritage building is anticipated, including ensuring long- term structural stability. Following technical review, the applications will be forwarded to the Richmond Heritage Commission for review and comment prior to proceeding to Planning Committee.
