12 . PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE DEVELOPMENT COST CHARGES IMPOSITION BYLAW (File Ref. No. 12-8060-20-010436; 03-1070-04-03) (REDMS No. 7099422, 7127263) R23/5-6 It was moved and seconded That Development Cost Charges Imposition Bylaw No. 9499, Amendment Bylaw No. 10436 be introduced and given first, second and third readings. The question on the motion was not called as discussion took place on (i) the financial viability of new developments incurring additional DCC costs; (ii) the use of DCCs to fund critical infrastructure projects such as new diking components; and (iii) the potential of escalating development costs. The question on the motion was then called and it was CARRIED with Cllr. Loo opposed.
