Draft Economic Development Strategy

Proposed Public and Business Consultation If endorsed, staff would undertake public and business consultation on the draft Strategy during Summer and early Fall 2026. Input would be sought on the proposed Vision, Strategic Objectives, and Outcomes, as well as on the full draft Strategy. The following consultation approach is proposed:  Draft Strategy posted on Let's Talk Richmond, where the public can review the document and complete an associated survey. Promoted through social media, e- newsletters, and digital signage at transit stations and community centres to raise broad public awareness.
