The General Manager, Planning and Development and General Manager, Finance submitted a report to obtain Council's approval to amend the Surrey Zoning Bylaw, 1993, No. 12000 and to introduce the Inclusionary Affordable Housing Reserve Fund Bylaw, 2026, No. 22093 to establish an Inclusionary Housing framework for the City of Surrey. These actions are required to fulfill the City’s commitment under the Housing Accelerator Fund to draft an inclusionary zoning bylaw by September 30,2026.
