MRDT applications are subject to provincial requirements, which include the following: 1) Developing a 5-Year Strategic Tourism Business Plan; 2) Obtaining support from at least 51% of accommodation providers representing at least 51% of the accommodation units in Richmond; and 3) Adopting a City bylaw that requests the Province to levy the MRDT on the municipality¶s behalf.
