It was Moved by Councillor Bose Seconded by Councillor Kooner That Council: 1. Receive Corporate Report R174 for information; 2. Direct staff to implement the recommended next steps for the Sea Dams as described in the report; 3. Endorse staff’s recommended amendments to Colebrook Dyking District ("CDD") Shared Cost Agreement ("CDD Transfer Agreement") as attached as Appendix "I", and direct staff to forward the amendments to the Province; and 4. Endorse staff’s recommended amendments to Surrey Dyking District ("SDD") Shared Cost Agreement ("SDD Technical Study") as attached as Appendix "II", and direct staff to forward the amendments to the Province; and 5. Authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to sign the revised CDD Transfer Agreement and SDD Technical Study, subject to the Province approving the amendments described in the report; and 6. Direct staff to report back to Council upon further dialogue with the Province and Federal Government. RES.R25-2024 Carried
