Skadi Green is a letter carrier, union organizer, renter and community advocate who has lived in the Greater Vancouver region since 2010. Her experience as a worker and organizer has shaped her focus on affordability, workers’ rights, environmental protection and ensuring people have a meaningful voice in decisions that affect their communities. Originally from New Brunswick, Skadi grew up in rural communities and small towns before moving across the country and settling in British Columbia. She quickly developed a strong connection to the province and the Lower Mainland and wants to see its communities and natural environment thrive for everyone.
