2026-10-12（温哥华时间）当时页面所见Anna Mary McKenzie (she/her) is a Cree journalist, policy advisor, child and youth advocate, and mother who has made her home in the Nanaimo community for many years. A proud member of Opaskwayak Cree Nation, Anna has strong ties to Snuneymuxw First Nation and is the mother of a Snuneymuxw child. Anna began her career as a youth worker supporting land-based programming and young people preparing to transition out of provincial care. She has volunteered with the Fostering Change initiative, advocating for stronger supports for youth aging out of care. Today, her policy work brings her to municipal, provincial, and federal tables, and she continues to advocate for children and families, including in her role as an advisor with Spotlight: Child Welfare.
